Turning rubbish into a resource

After an extensive and rigorous procurement and, the evaluation process the Materials Resource Management Contract (MRMC) has been awarded to Biffa Waste Services and the Contract was signed in June 2010. Biffa will build and operate a Mechanical Biological Treatment Facility at their Brookhurst Wood site in North Horsham, to deal with the non recycled household waste in West Sussex.  For full information and the journey leading to the signing of the MRMC between West Sussex County Council and Biffa Waste Services click here
