The winner of the Better Tomorrows 2011 Recycling Sculpture Sculpture Challenge was announced on Wednesday (June 10) at the Cass Sculpture Foundation in Goodwood.

Samuel Lloyd from University of Chichester won this year's competition(University Category) which will now see his sculpture displayed in the sculpture park for the next six months.

Students from Chichester College including the Brinsbury campus at Pulborough, Northbrook College in Worthing, Worthing College and Central Sussex College in Haywards Heath have all taken part in the challenge to produce a stunning array of work which has helped them to think about how they can create a greener future.

The competition was set up by Better Tomorrows, an independent not-for-profit company aimed at driving forward behavioural and cultural change within the county in order to meet the requirements of living in a more sustainable manner.

Students from each of the four colleges had to create their own sculptures which would reflect the Better Tomorrows message.
