This year, For Better Tomorrows in the Kitchen and Garden Leaflet will be sent out in April, as well as a Booklet in September 2009 and there will be a digital version available to download.
The leaflet has many helpful tips to save money (£50 per month just by being careful on how you shop for food) and reduce waste, plus discounts on Food Digesters and Compost Bins and FREE Membership to the Green Club.
'For Better Tomorrows' encapsulates what we are striving to achieve regarding sustainable living within West Sussex. As climate change gains more recognition in the press and on TV, the awareness that it is a global threat to the planet is beginning to take hold. But take heart, there is hope if we act now and continue to do more!
This year's 'For Better Tomorrows' Leaflet and Booklet are packed with great offers, that you can get involved with at home - from reducing waste and saving energy to travelling to work and buying local food.
Managing our rubbish in a more sustainable way will not be easy, and it will involve us all 'doing our bit' and we thank you all for your help in trying to achieve a greener county.
